It's not magic.
It is simply that our thoughts, emotions and actions have an impact.
Every action has a consequence.
Example: if you consider that you are responsible for your health, you exercise, you choose your diet, you manage your emotions well, etc., so over time you give yourself a better chance of staying healthy.
Health is a state of physical, emotional, mental and social well-being.
By knowing you needs and desires you are able to make the right choices for you and stay healthy.
The choices differ from one person to another.
There is no one way that works for everyone.
However in a normative society, like ours, that requires asserting one's individuality to maintain this state.
The entourage and the collective unconscious exert pressure you have to be aware of and detach yourself from in order to stay aligned with who you are.
